Professional liability insurance

Rechtsanwälte Seidler & Kollegen Partnerschaftsgesellschaft mbB maintains professional liability insurance with ERGO Versicherung AG with an insured sum of € 10,000,000.00 in accordance with the Federal Lawyers’ Act. In addition, all lawyers of the firm are personally insured with ERGO Versicherung AG for the statutory minimum insurance sum of € 250,000 each.

Information on online dispute resolution

The EU Commission has created an internet platform for the online settlement of disputes (so-called “ODR platform”). We are not prepared to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board in accordance with the “Act on Alternative Dispute Resolution in Consumer Matters (VSBG)”.

Information according to § 36 Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (VSBG)

The competent consumer arbitration board for property disputes arising from a client-lawyer relationship is the Schlichtungsstelle der Rechtsanwaltschaft, Neue Grünstraße 17, 10179 Berlin, However, lawyers are not obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
